Rabbits are accommodated in fully enclosed, purpose-built rooms that can extend to suit any size of household group, from singles to larger bonded groups. Each space allows room to hop, rest, and move about comfortably. Hay can be available at all times if this is part of their normal routine. Handling is kept gentle and respectful, and is only carried out when both the rabbit and handler are comfortable.

Owners are encouraged to provide their rabbit’s usual dry food or nuggets. We tailor the fresh foods we provide to suit each rabbit’s normal diet.

Guinea pigs are cared for in much the same way as rabbits, with spacious, fully enclosed accommodation that can be adapted for pairs or groups. They are monitored closely to ensure they are eating, settled, and comfortable throughout their stay.

We recommend owners provide their usual dry food, while we customise the fresh foods provided to match what they are used to at home.

We offer several accommodation options for tortoises, depending on size and individual needs. Smaller, hand-sized tortoises can stay in our tortoise table, which includes an integrated heat lamp. Larger tortoises may be accommodated in our rabbit rooms, which can be adapted to suit their requirements.

For tortoises that do not get along, we can also adapt our multi-level rooms by safely blocking the ramp opening, creating two separate living spaces. We are an indoor-only facility, with a carefully controlled environment that remains cool during warmer months. Heat lamp availability is limited, so we recommend enquiring in advance.

Parrots are usually accommodated in one of our three dedicated cages, designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment. Handling is carried out only where the parrot is comfortable and where it is appropriate for both the bird and handler. We have cage covers for night time.

We ask owners to provide their parrot’s usual seed mix. Fresh foods are provided to suit individual preferences where appropriate.

Small birds such as budgies and canaries are boarded in their own cages, which must be provided by the owner, along with their usual food. This helps maintain familiarity and reduce stress during their stay. We have cage covers for night time.

Pricing is charged per cage, per day, meaning two birds sharing a cage are charged the same as one.

Mice, rats, hamsters, and gerbils are always boarded in their own cages, as they would be at home. This helps maintain familiar routines and reduce stress during their stay.

Other small mammals or larger rodents, including degus, chinchillas, and hedgehogs, may be boarded either in their own accommodation or in our purpose-built hutches where suitable. Multi-level accommodation is ideal for chinchillas and degus, while hedgehogs are housed in single-level spaces.

Handling is carried out in line with what each animal is used to at home. Bedding is supplied by the owner, with bedding changes available during longer stays. Daily maintenance and cleaning are provided for all pets.

Reptiles and amphibians must arrive with their full setup, including vivarium, heating, lighting, and any other required equipment. We provide suitable power access for all necessary equipment and follow feeding routines as they are carried out at home.

We are able to source and provide live food where required. Owners are asked to enquire in advance regarding the specific reptiles we are able to board, and to provide clear care instructions at the time of booking.

“Our dwarf lop eared bunny enjoys going here when we go away. We’ve never put him in boarding before so was very anxious about it but Oreo was very well looked after. He came back very happy. Tom sent us pics whenever we asked how Oreo was. The houses are very clean. Its a family run place. Everyone is very friendly.“

Purpose Built Accommodation

We have five spacious ground-level rooms, each measuring approximately 2ft x 6ft, which can extend into one another. This flexible layout allows us to comfortably accommodate single pets or bonded companions, while giving us the ability to adapt space to suit individual needs.

Upper-Level Accommodation

Our three upper-level rooms offer additional space and enrichment, featuring both a ground floor and first-floor level. These rooms are ideal for pets that benefit from extra movement and separation of areas, providing a comfortable and engaging environment during their stay.

Caged & Smaller Guests

We also accommodate pets that arrive in their own cages, including smaller animals such as hamsters, as well as parrots, for whom we have three dedicated cages. These are safely housed on dedicated worktop space, allowing for close monitoring, easy access, and a calm, controlled environment.
