Our First Guest…

This week the Summer House welcomed its first guest… Brasso the Senegal Parrot.

Brasso is 27 years old and his younger brother, Bobo the cat, is a regular guest at Longcourse Cattery.

He enjoys whistling and has been tricking us into thinking our phone is ringing! He loves to eat sweetcorn and apple, as well as his nuts and seeds. He loves his toys and enjoys shredding up cardboard.

He is staying in his own enclosure, as Senegal Parrots aren’t too large in size, but we do have our own Parrot cages for customers to book out… we know that some people may struggle to get their large cages into their vehicles. Have a look at our enclosures below.
